Allison Moore is an Editor at Bloomsbury Children’s Books. Some of her recent and upcoming books include New York Times bestseller Ghost Boys by Jewell Parker Rhodes, Indie Next pick Dad By My Side by Soosh, Extraordinary Birds by Sandy Stark-McGinnis, The Storm Keeper’s Island by Catherine Doyle, The Multiplying Mysteries of Mount Ten by Krista Van Dolzer, and several books by Todd Parr, E. D. Baker, Jennifer Castle, and Sherri Winston. Her sweet spots are contemporary realistic fiction and magical realism, though she enjoys all stories that delve into real feelings, choices, issues, and perspectives in fresh and accessible ways. She also loves picture books with original hooks, memorable illustration styles, seasonal promotion potential, and clever humor.
